The Mathematics, Science and Technology (MST) Program

Creating a learning environment that develops skills for the technology age

A partnership among the Caddo Parish Public Schools, the Biomedical Research Foundation, the Consortium for Education, Research and Technology (CERT) and other local organizations, MST Program focuses on the extensive use of technology as a learning and problem-solving tool and promotes collaborations among students, teachers, parents and the community in creating a learning environment that encourages a comprehensive educational experience. Four schools participate in the program: Southwood and Woodlawn high schools, Ridgewood Middle School and Keithville Elementary/Middle School, serving 4,000 students and 181 teachers per year in grades 4 through 12. MST teachers attend summer training in the latest technology and teaching techniques.
